I am finally getting around to finishing up all the sewing projects that I have been meaning to work on. I draped up this skirt last weekend and finally got the chance to wear it today. It was a little too snug around the knees so I ended up adding in a little slit which I think looks pretty nice actually. It is often hard to judge things like that when you are draping since judy's (the adjustable mannequins) don't extend past the hips. I actually had my sister help me pin up that section this time, but often I just guesstimate and hope it works out. Sometimes I also baste up the sides and take it in as needed, it all depends on what mood I am in and if other people are around to help haha. I am really enjoying getting back into draping and sewing again, it feels good to be creating things. Maybe once the sewing room has been tidied a bit more I will give you guys a virtual tour.

I think I Am Proud of My Size is on a bit of a hiatus this week as Rachele re-vamps the link up. It is also her birthday today so she is probably too busy celebrating that as well. In the mean time think body positive thoughts, I am sure she will be back with something even more spectacular.
