Sailing Away

What I Wore:
Shirt: Thrifted (Talize)
Tank Top: Suzy Shier
Jeans: Old Navy
Shoes: Zellers

This sweater makes me really happy. Not only does it have french cuffs (awesome!) and a sweet print, the collar and cuffs are detachable! So I can wear it like I did in these pictures OR I can take off the cuffs and collar and just wear the sweater (with another shirt under or whatevs).  I have been finding some pretty sweet stuff at thrift stores lately, I don't like to think about what I missed out on over the last few years when I wasn't making regular trips. So far Talize has been better than Value Village. I still miss Frenchy's though.

I kind of feel like I should be on some kind of sailboat in this sweater. Must be the knots. I have really been into nautical prints lately. There is just something about anchors, knots, lighthouses and the colours that really speaks to me. Maybe it's because I spent a lot of time on the East Coast, living by the sea. Since I am not there now, and I really miss it, wearing prints like this reminds me of it all.

Not much else to talk about in this post. I will be back next week from my trip to Orlando/New Orleans and will have plenty of fresh material to share with you all, haha!

  1. Adorable! Also - I want your jeans. What fit/cut are they? They look devine!

    1. Thanks! They were the Diva fit from Old Navy. I got them a few years ago, maybe 4-5 now. They fit very well though. Maybe because they have limited spandex and don't stretch out during the day. One of my favourite pairs for sure.
