This is the view from one of the restaurants we ate at in Miramar Beach. It was so beautiful there. The sand was white (it looked like snow!), the water was crystal clear and the sky was blue. It was gorgeous. The restaurant had a patio that you could bring your dogs onto and they had heaters for when it was cool out (which it was on that day, so thank goodness for that). It was a pretty neat place. I had some delicious fish tacos for lunch. I have never had that before and since I was on vacation I thought I would take a step on the wild side and I am so glad that I did. I can't say the same for the cheese grits that I tried with it, I won't be trying those again that's for sure.
I was so stoked to be able to wear these sandals that I thrifted in the late fall. It was way too cold out to wear them when I got them and I have been looking forward to having a chance to break them out of my closet. I am pretty excited about this dress, I found it when I was cleaning out my fabric stash a few weeks ago. I honestly have no idea where it came from, but isn't the print awesome! The only thing I can think of is that I got it from an old teacher when she was cleaning her office, but I can't be entirely sure to tell you the truth. Judging by the print and the fabric I think it is from the 1970s which is pretty sweet. It used to be a maxi dress, and was made for someone a lot smaller than myself. I loved the neckline and print so much that I really wanted to make it work. I managed to alter it in such a way that it now fits perfectly and will be very nice in the summer. I am going to post my step by step alteration for it later today so keep your eyes peeled.
So while I was reading this post, a guy started reading over my shoulder. Really random. Didn't really saw anything and then left. I thought he might be a Psych. Prof judging by the room he went into. Then another guy came from that room, came over and started reading over my shoulder and said, "Just came over to see what you were reading, looked interesting." and then giggled and left towards that Psych room. Both men were probably in their 50's. And while he was leaving I heard him say to the other guy "This is turning into quite the gag."... I think your blog might be the best thing to ever happen to the Psych Dept.
ReplyDeleteWhat the heck?! That's super weird, I am not sure if I should be happy, confused or concerned. Maybe all three at once? Maybe they were pranking you? Very strange.
