These are the shoes I bought from Target during my shopping trip to the States two weekends ago (has it already been two weekends?!). I thought they were pretty awesome as soon as I saw them and had to try them on immediately. There was also a mint pair with white soles, but I thought the beige and pink would fit a bit better with my current wardrobe (although the mint ones were pretty awesome). They also came with a second set of beige laces, which is pretty sweet. The second more subtle set of laces means I can tone them down if I ever need to, not sure why I would but hey it's nice to have options. Can you believe these puppies were only $20? I thought that was a pretty good deal for a sweet pair of shoes. I am trying to be more discerning with my purchases (see 2013 Goals), especially shoes. I have quite a few pairs but I find that I only tend to wear a select few. The problem is it is hard to find shoes that fit me properly, and I think sometimes I buy shoes that I like because I want them to fit, but they don't actually and then I never wear them. Or the opposite, I find a pair that fit so I buy them, but I don't actually like them so I never wear them. I have walked away from a few pairs already this year and I haven't regretted it yet. I am quite pleased with my willpower so far actually.
I wrote this post in advance and scheduled it because as of right now I should be in Orlando enjoying the pleasures of Universal Studios and Harry Potter World! The rest of the posts for this week have also been pre-written and scheduled. I will have my laptop with me and will check e-mails/comments at night but the responses will probably not be as prompt as usual. I will of course be posting pictures from the trip as soon as I can, but I won't be back until next Monday night. Stay tuned thought because I do have a great post prepared for Wednesday. Two posts actually :D Enticed? I hope that everyone is having a great week!
